I'm going to my first reptiles expo as a vendor this weekend and have some questions for y'all. I realized on Monday that I didn't have nearly enough deli cups and I don't have a fancy smancy display setup so I'm probably going to have to spend $100 to order some from shipyourreptiles.com to get them in time for this weekend : /
If anyone knows of a cheap place to order clear deli cups online that would be awesome, I can drill my own holes, lol. I looked online but couldn't find anything. They're all either not clear or they're tall when I need something wider. My second question is about pricing. I only have the one litter that I'm selling so I'm planning on doing pricing as follows:
- Ghosts (Possible Supers & 50% het kahl) $300 each. I only have three of these guys and they're very nice ghosts : )
- Hypos (Possible Supers, 50% het kahl, 66% het anery) I was planning on pricing these between $75-$125 depending on their color.
- Normals (50% het kahl, 66% het anery) $40? I honestly have no idea what normals are selling for these days. Since they're only possible for kahl and anery I wasn't planning on marking up the price based on that. I can't remember what normals were priced at when I went to the expo last time, about 80% of the vendors were selling ball pythons, lol. I think normal bp's were priced at $20 so maybe $40 is too much?
I don't want to sell everybody at dirt cheap prices but I also don't want to be asking way too much. Do these prices seem fair to you guys? I know it will probably vary a bit based on location.
