  • [Military General Ft Hood Tragedy

Take a moment today to pray for the families and friends of those lost in this tragedy.

This one hits pretty close to home for me and I know several folks that are stationed there.

So close to Veteran's Day but I sure did not need something like this to make me remember.

God Bless all those who serve.

    Re: Ft Hood Tragedy

Losing soldiers in combat is terrible enough but to lose them this way seems even more tragic.

This is truly a sad day in America.

My prayers go out to the Ft. Hood families and friends.

May God bless them and watch over them in their darkest hour.

A close friend of mine for the last 11 years was stationed there. Her and her husband just moved to Germany last month after being at Ft. Hood a few years.

My uncle went to Ranger school at Ft. Hood. I feel for the men stationed there and the families of the victims. In my opinion, the men who did this were working for somebody besides the US military if you know what I mean.

Ranger school is at Ft. Benning GA. Not fort hood. Been there done that. Fort benning has always been home of the Rangers and the Infantry. IT is sad, I'm currently stationed with the 101st and losing soldiers in war is what we do. Now when we aresupposed to be at home and safe on base and htis happens it's another story. I hope he's hung!

                    Re: Ft Hood Tragedy

Thanks Lar, for giving us some names and faces to pray for.

It says that PFC. Velez was pregnant? Did the baby die as well? If so, that brings this tragedy to a whole new level of evil. I'm very saddened by this news.

Actually, I have no words to describe this tragedy. "Sad" seems to be only one emotion I have right now.

im in the US army and currently deployed right now. its sad to hear that we have soldiers getting killed by our own. i'm ashamed to say that that major was in the US army. i hope they dont kill him and just throw him in jail with the general population so they can take care of him and make his life hell until the day he dies.
