young boa question

so I bought a female red tail boa whose about 24 inches long however the tree in her cage is maybe a foot foot an 4 inches tall which she loves to climb on is making her fall down the lst couple inches of her tail and im curious if this could harm her if any one could let me know thatd be great so thanks in advance

Repeated falls will usually wind up hurting any living being. I would suggest removing the tree until you can find a suitable replacement.

Thanks for responding I figured such was the case with the tree so I've decided I'm gonna build some kind of skirt round it to make the edge a bit taller so hopefully she can't fall off
