Hi my name is cale Im 17 almost 18 and have decided to get a red tail boa I have aways wanted a snake and almost got a bull python but had a little chat with some people and found out red tails are coooler and wayyyyy sweater so i thought what the hell lets get a 10 foot snake. But ya im from boise idaho and thats about it i like to play games and such like normal teens do. But will be around asking questions and getting all my do and do nots of snake owning.

I got my first (a ball python) at about the same age... and 25+ years later I've had boids ever since. Keep in mind a ten foot snake needs at least a six foot cage and there will be expenses. My advice is to do your research, choose well, buy quality housing and focus on the quality of your husbandry as opposed to he quantity of your collection. Welcome to the hobby and forum.
