  • circle back laddertail vs arabesque vs key west

can anyone explain the markers that separate these 3 morps for me? I've been working with a rescued male who keeps producing these and need a hand identifying. The first pic was produced from his first clutch with a normal female, the second pic was from the second litter of the same pairing

You might also add in Roswell laddertails , Motleys, Keltics , Aztecs, and Raptors -they are all connecting. But, with your original thread ---- Circleback Laddertails (CBLT's) are not a morph . They are more of a polygenic thing - meaning that they take on the heritage traits of the parents - not mutating into something . Arabesques have a distinct head marking ,and typically a stronger saddle connection - often really speckled too. Key Wests are super clean and won't be mistaken by the other two , but they may be the same mutation as the Roswell Laddertail . I'm not saying that they are the same , but they may also make a Super that is completely double-striped -- just like the Ros LT . I mean that Motleys are the same mutation ,but their are CA Mots , Col Mots , Arg Mots . . ECT . Same mutation amongst different localities . The same may be true with the KW's, and RTL's, as well as the pure BCC LT's.
