At a show last month I picked up a "bubblegum". I was wondering if anyone had heard of them. It has an overall pink/orange color with very pale saddles and spots. I suspect that it's actually a rat snake. Any ideas? Thanks

Re:Bubblegum corn
Naw they are just a corn snake I do belive... (of course a corn is a rat snake but you know what I mean..) They might be crossed with a emoi but probley not.... they have pink and green corns that are pure bred... so I bet that is perty close... I have seen a bunch of bubble gum corns and they just look like really nice snows....

Re:Bubblegum corn
An emoryi is a type of rat snake in the guttata complex. Their name is Emory's Rat Snake (Elaphe guttata emoryi). They are used in crosses with albino corns to make creamsicle. A bubblegum is just a color variation of a snow corn, and they are still 100% corn. Just don't try chewing them and blowing bubbles with them. It won't be a very pleasant experience for either of you.
