Hey,my rat/corn(bought from TC) has regirgitated

My snow rat/corn has been regergitating a lot lately. I have a heat rock and live in SC so it is not that cold. She has regirgitated a lot for me since i got her. Remember me TC.... the guy who asked your whole family if they sold snakes :-[.Thanks TEXT [shadow=red,left,300]TEXT[/shadow]

Got to admit this forum looks nice after not posting on it for probably 8 months

The heat rock...?? Do you have that on a reostat?? If not then get it on one... or get rid of it. I would use a che or a uth not a hot rock... The rock it self could be causing it... They can do that when they are being kept in to cold of or to hot of places... What are your temp's?? cool side hot side?? there are some other things that can cause this so lets just start with that.... Tc is hard to get a hold of now... may be try to e-mail him...

i would agree with Red. Your temps might be the problem... with corns i would use an uth (under tank heater) and put a temp guage right over it on the bedding... you would want that to be around 80 degrees is fine the cool side would be around 70 ish. i keep the bedding thinner on the hot side so i can get an accurate reading on the gauge... hey Mixer dont be a stranger i thought you fell of the face of the earth... cwm35.gif cwm4.gif

Yeah sorry about falling of the face of the earth. I have a carpet sort of bedding(not astroturf). Anyway I don't know the temps. She hadn't regirgitated in a while(5-6 feedings). i don't know why she did now. I am probably going to bring her inside(she is on my porch--inclosed porch). I do have a under the tank heater, it is small though. I will use it. Thanks

Oh My GOD! Get rid of the heat rock. The poor thing doesn't stand a chance with that thing. UTH all the way with Corns and Rats, so the Corn/Rat will be fine with that. Also the enclosed porch is it screen? That will also be a problem because of a little thing called dust.
