Thanksgiving weekend, I picked up a 2 to 2 1/2 foot hypo Honduran milksnake. I'd been looking for a tri colored milksnake (not albino, tangerine, apricot, etc) with some decent size for a while. They tiny babies are SO spastic that I wanted one with a little more size that would hopefully be a little calmer.
Well, this one is still a spaz. It's the only snake I have that I have to restrain to avoid losing it, getting musked and pooped on in the process. I guess it's going to be a cage queen and not for touching! Anyway, it's a pretty snake. It also doesn't sit still when exposed, so the pic isn't the best. I have a Tarahumara mountain king that's about the same size, that's very easy to handle. Crazy milksnakes! I had to put it in a bucket to get a pic of it.
