  • Tiger

Figured I'd post a picture up of our Tiger Retic we've had for about 5 months now. Super sweet boy, but man what a feeding response.

Nice! We have a platinum female that's six months old now. The only day she isn't "foody" is the day after she's been fed.

Nice looking Tiger you have there. The Tiger morph is my favorite of the tigers. All the retics I have owned had a very aggressive feeding response, some would stay in feeing mode for 2 days. They all go into feeding mode as soon as I bring the frozen rats in the house. Can’t wait to breed my female sunfire tiger to my male purple phase albino retic. It will still be 3 or 4 years before I can breed her.

      Take care,
      Tom

Its funny how much more intelligent the retic seems compared to the boas. Maybe its just the eyes they have.

Great looking tiger! My most recent addition was a platinum tiger and I've been super happy to finally have a tiger in my collection. Hook training definitely helps control the feeding response.

Nice looking tiger, I also have a normal male reticulated and yes. There feeding response is off the charts LOL. My biggest challenge is building a huge enclosure because my normal is not a dwarf but in years to come I would love to breed him with a tiger. But he not old enough yet, he's only 15 months old. I've also been doing hook training with him and it does helps a lot. Its shocking to me cause at time he would let me rub his head and he won't move still I stand up or walk around. But I never realized by letting this guy on the floor, how fast he is LOL.
