The age of a snake..

I just recently got a ball python from my friend that moved.I have no idea how old he is.Is there any way to find out how old he is???Thanx.

He is about 2 feet 8 inches long..

i would say around 3 years old. ball pythons usually grow about 12 inches a year for the first 3 years.

Wow.I had no idea that Montey Python was that old..Thanx for the help.Iv always woundered about how to tell the age of my python.Thanx alot.
