Re:baby burm not eating
Hey Roto,
Sounds like you may have a few things going on.. But you will have to give alot more info from where you got the Burn, if its normal or albino, what the temps are, what is the humidity, what are you offering as prey and is it live F/K or F/T. How old is the Burm, etc..
Just a few things I would do based on the info you gave..
First soak the burm for a good solid hour in luke cool water.. Maybe add a splash or three of pedialite in the water..
After the bath, put either live fuzzie or live hopper mouse in with the snake.. Cover the feed tank for an hour and leave it alone. When you check back the prey should be gone.. I normally never suggest live feedings, but with burms as babies they sometimes need it to start the feeds..
Give it some time, don't over hold him/her and make sure the temps are correct.. If you offer food and the snake refuses it, don't offer again for three days.. Over offering will just add to the snakes stress..
Good luck and keep us posted
Steve
