      Hey Roto,

Nice looking rep.. Still say that head looks more like a boa with shape then a burm.. Hope you wake up today and find he ate the rat..

            Re:head shot

definately a python but i agree with steve still may be a burm x retic does not look like a burmese python head i have seen most burms have wider heads than that well all pythons have wide heads that is why i was confused by the head how small and arrow shaped the head is looks like a bcc head like the surinams and guyana red tail boas.. BTW how did he eat for u did he take the rat pink finally or not?? another thing u can try is a damp pillow case with the pink in it as well as the snake and leave it in over night in the cool side of the tank to see if he will take that way maybe a moist pink will put the smell that the burm will take.. keep us updated roto

AGAIN NICE LOOKING SNAKE U GOT THERE

                Re:head shot

                Beautiful snake!!

It is definitly a Burm.. I think the reason that the head looks wierd is because the snake is very skinny, due to not eating!

Did you leave the mouse in over night? If so what did you feed it in? Its not a good idea to leave a mouse with a snake for a long period of time, unsupervised. Especially if the snake hasnt been eating in the first place.

And you want a reason for this, dont you...

The snake can easily get bored with it; and Mice, being much smarter than snakes, can hide. Then being a scavenger the mouse will wait for the snake to fall asleep and then BAM attack the snake and kill it.

                Just a little suggestion...
