What size cage is right for adult burms?

    Re: Burm cage size

Answers to this question are going to depend on just who ya ask basically. I for one do NOT house them in small type enclosures like 4 x 2 x 2 or 6 x 2 x 2 at all if they are adults. I don't think it is fair to them at all to be confined like that with movement restricions associated with their's and the cages size etc. I house the adults in cages that are 7 w x 7 h x 5 d here. That gives them enough room to actually move about in the cage.

Wow!! Might as well put them in a seperate room. Burms are around 10-12ft (average). I think 8x4 cage would work.

It is there girth that makes the encloser size so big... They would be able to curl up and fill half that cage... I know alot of people that have a big closet made in to a cage for there burms...
        Good luck with the cage...

YUP, that would be even better for them to have as a cage hehe

YUP, it is most definately their girth that is the issue in their housing needs. When my largest one goes and does her coiling thing in her cage.. She does take up half if not slightly more than that , amount of space even.
