    Re: Ticks

She did not shed after that incident. The shed was 2 weeks before. I noticed now too that she has a dent in her eye. (dehydration, I put some gatorade in the water dish to help aide in this) I am trying not to let myself jump to too many conclusions right now. Kind of wish the vet appt. was today. Oh well, until tomorrow, all I can do is remain calm.

HMM.. Could be dehydration that's going on possibly...BUT also could just be that you have a ball python that is like this too even. Some ball pythons will have eyes that have that dented look to them prior to going into shed..others will have that as the norm ..and still others will have this look about them when they are dehydrated. Soo could be due to any of those things that the eye is like this. Using the gatorade will help if it is the dehydration thing and if not.. will not cause any problems for the snake either. Let us know what happens at the vet visit tomm also please. GOOD LUCK !

Ok, things are looking better. The vet said that her RI is clearing up nicely and did not put her on another round of antibiotics. He also said nice job putting gatorade in the cage, she is not too dehydrated, though she does need a little more work. (thanks guys) ;D He gave her a vitamin A injection to help induce hunger and said that if she doesn't eat within the next two weeks to bring her back and he will have to force feed her. cwm39.gif She is too thin for his liking. Any how, thanks for all the help and I will keep you posted.
