Figured I would post two shots I took of "Baby". We got her when here yolk sack scar was just healing. She is super high Yellow. I will take a few shots after she does a shed, it is so yellow, almost gold.
Steve
Yeah she does have alot of white. Whats funny about her is we picked her from a tank of 10 others. We chose her because she was the only one who didn't ball up. She is real nosy..
One last odd thing about her is she will only take food when my wife is holding her. She see's the rat pup and goes up and takes it, rolls around it and then we can set her in her feed tank. Its the oddest thing. She will only do it when the wife is holding her, no one else.. And they say snakes can't attach..LOL
Getting another ball tomorrow. Just a little baby, has red sides and white dots down its back..
;D Hey Steve watch the white on the sides of that BP as i had one that came in with alittle white like that and as he grew the white went right up his sides and hes really wild looking.. I still think your BP is very nice looking... a real beauty...
I totally agree. My Bp knows exactly who is by the tank. He only comes to the top corner when I am there, anyone else has to dig for him, but he comes right to me everytime. and if the lid is off, he will come out of the top and "reach" for me.
I have had him since he was a hatchling, and nursed him through an almost fatal illness, so I think we bonded ;D
I also have a Boa that I have rescued from near death, and he is the same way, my husband swears that he thinks I'm his mom! : But I only get that response from the two that I nursed back from illness, and both times, the vet didn't give them more than a 10% chance of living, but I wouldn't let them die, I even brought them to work with me (county offices don't take real kindly to "bring your snake to work day"either!) to keep watch over them. and though the boa is much more "wirey" they both recognize me.

Thats always great when the snake bonds with you. Its funny I have alot of snakes now 10 to be exact and I baby them all. I love to watch them grow and its funny that each one has a totally different personality, I love that..
I have witnessed snakes develope little personalities. I have an albino Black Ratsnake who loves to be with me so much that the 2 times she escaped she ended up laying in my bed curled up next to me. She is my favorite and I think she knows it. My favorite snakes are the obsoleta and she has not one mean bone in her body. She even asks her prey if they mind her eating them LOL! We have an anerythristic Corn that will only eat if you hand him his food. If you drop it in he looks at you and then the food and then you ... and so on until you pick it up and hand it to him, and then he eats it.
Gotta love when they act like that. This Ball is 100% my wifes. Loves all the attention she gives her. Even will push on her fingers until she strats petting its head..
