  • This is AMAZON..

She's one of our newest albino burms here. She is about 125lbs weight and is 13'+ in length..her girth is 3' She has got a sweeeeet temperament. Loves to hiss a bit but that is just her, she means nothing by it hehe. She is being held by one of my neighbors in this pic [ not many people could lift her by themsleves lol It takes me and like 2 others to get her out when I do hehe]...

He's a hisser too, but sweet in tempermant. He is a little over 11 feet. I'll hopefully have pics of him up soon. s9.gif

LOL.. Yeah..think people have been staying up in the first block of threads here for awhile with the redtails hehe.
NOPE I didn't know ya got a burm now. What color etc... albino, norm, labyrinth etc...
LMAO.. Yeah they are much more hissy than a redtail. In fact if one of mine doesn't hiss I start to wonder if something is wrong with it. BURMS live to hiss I think, least all mine do. Now as long as they do NOT strike and are just "communicating" is all, then we'll all get along and not worry any.
I do have one albino that will not only his, but actually strike at me too if I am in her territory that is...Once out of cage she's a sweetheart though
I had one of our 15'+'ers out today and she hissed up a storm at me too...just laughed at her ... she didn't want to come out and play and I made her not only come out of the cage but also go outside for awhile too. ;D

Actually I just started doing the pages for my burms on my site today. We currently have 5 burms here and the page addy for em is http://koalaskritters.homestead.com/burmesepython.html When I have time I shall add to it, but all 5 can be seen on that page in the meantime anyway.

              TY
LOL.. GEORGE is one of my BIG TIME hissers hehe. His cage is next to the pc and he'll even start hissing for no reason and catch me off guard sometimes in the middle of the night lmao. BTW...The snake's name is GEORGE but we aren't even sure if it's a female or male even yet lol. Was sexed by a vet....and I am sure ya know how that one goes :
He's a 10'er range one btw also...one of my smaller ones atm lol.

                Re: This is AMAZON..

WHew, now thats a snake,  we had one at a local pet store that was so big they were looking into buying young F/T pigs for it .. I am a little scared of pythons and retics. they just are so dang large and power full... The only ones  I see are in pet store's with people rapping on the glass and teasing them all day long..
One of my coworkers that works in the same hosp corporation I do has  a breeding pair of retics and numerous other boa's , I haven't seen his set ups but it does involve a barn, and huge cages from what I've heard. He was dating a lady VEt friend good thing that many animals can be expensive  if someone gets a sniffle...
I saw my first labyrinth Python What a looker over at that BClark page..
                [ftp]http://www.bobclark.com/d_learn.asp?id=31&cat=pythons[/ftp]

Man that is one really neat looking snake..
Yours is either about to off  load some poo or is full of eggs in that pic of the guy holding her.. Maybe she's been eating really well   hehehehe  doug

LOL Doug.. Naw.. She's not gravid at all. Has never even been exposed to a male up to that pic being taken lol. She is HUGE is all. She was brought up on chickens..UGH. I am currently working on changing her taste palate to rodentia though. She is not being very cooperative in that ...yet. i will win though and hopefully she will also "thin" out a bit too. She is a "tad" over weight lol Dang chicken fattens em up big time...Not great for their health at all either.
