One thing that hard with taking rewscues in, is you get attached.. Had him out again today, and yeah still gives a hiss here and there, but he is a doll. Fun to hold and has a personality to boot.. Tomorrow we let him roam the field, get some sun and enjoy some fresh air.. Its gonna be hard to give him up...

BTW ignor the death look in my eyes. Was working on the property all day and looked ragged..LOL

It must be hard to place a burm... I mean it would not be that hard to find sombody to take it but sombody that has the room and will take good care of it now that is the trick....

Funny thing is I had three people contact me the first day I showed pics of him.. First one ran into a snag and could take him in, so we will go to the next one..

Yeah I am careful that the person who want him understand what they are getting into.. A 15 snake will need the right house..

Hey Jay,

I thought about burms, but the size made me back off. Just require a nice big cage to do it right... a 6x3x3 will do it fine for a real long time till they hit 12 foot, then on to a bigger one..

Well this is a male so not quite a whole room, but a real big cage..LOL.. His mom is 14 years old and 16 foot, the dad is 10 years old and 12 foot.. So I expect him to max out at 15 foot, but you never can tell..

I've always wanted an albino burm....I had a green (paternless) for awhile but I traded it before it hit 7 foot. But I'll never get a retic, I was at a show once and some guy was trying to sell a sub-adult tiger retic to someone else and when I walked by the retic jumped out of the guys hands and it tagged me on the arm. So that kinda preset my mind on retics.....

Hey Xander,

I will be honest, I have never been a big fan of Burms.. But there was something weird about this one. Can't even explain it.. Even Slither who has him now said the same thing. I never believed that retics made good house pets.. but Slither had 3 of them plus this burm.. Retics can be real fiesty, plus they get huge..
