One of my newest member to the family.........Well its around that time during the winter season and now i have a sick snake with an upper RI, almost made it thru.. But i just got my beautiful looking female platinum reticulated python that is a (march) 2014 baby. About a little over a week ago at a reptile event in my area. So today was the first day of hook training and handling and after 25 mins or so while handling i notice bubbles coming from the mouth. Now during that week there were no handling what so ever but i did feed her 2 rat pups cause the breeder said she haven`t ate in 2 weeks and she ate them like a champ and she is always very active. But after notice the problem i know her was sick with RI. So i just came from the emergency exotic animal hospital and got her checked out and it turns out i was rite. So she has to take CEFTAZIDIME DISP/CC shot that i have to give her every 3 days for 2 weeks then back for a check up to check the process of her sickness. I have to keep a close eye on her for the next few days.
