  • Olive appreciation!

I figured I never post pictures of this girl so it's about time! This is my seven foot plus olive python in her holding tub while I cleaned her cage.Olives are much more inquisitive then boas, and like to know everything that's going on around them super cool to handle. It helps this girl is completely mellow once you get around that wicked feeding response and get her out of the cage haha.

Thanks guys, I feel people need to diversify there collections.Sticking with one is just so bleh haha, and what causes this distance you could say between breeders of different species.which doesn't help our efforts against possible legislation's etc.

Very nice! I used to be a lot more active on some of the Morelia forums and several people there kept olives. They always sounded like such cool snakes. My collection is fairly diverse but I've definitely been picking up a lot of boas in the last few years. I really need a bigger snake room, lol.

Thanks again, Zaphod they're very cool snakes to own that require a large cage.I need a bigger room as well haha.I hope to have a building just for my reptiles someday and not have to worry about space haha.

                  Such a beauty!

We rarely see pics of Olives around here.

I look forward to additional updates in the future!

I got a chance to interact with a pair of Olives one time, there were great. I love the iridescence on them in the sunlight. Thanks for sharing.
