  • What T should I get next?

I'm not getting a new T anytime soon. At least, my wallet hopes not. But, in the meantime, I thought I'd post a few species and see what you guys think. These species are some of the pretty good choices for beginners, by the way These pics are courtesy of E-Spiderworld, and most of the spiders pictured are females.

    Texas Tan (Aphonopelma anax)

Desert Blond (Aphonopelma chalcodes) They aren't as white as they look in the pic. They're actually more of a blond color.

    Oklahoma Brown (Aphonopelma hentzi)

Mexican Golden Redrump (Brachypelma ruhnaui) Not likely I will get this one due to price, but still a beautiful species, IMO.

            Hey Bry,

That Greenbottle Blue is very cool. How agressive are they, and what do they cost...?

                Steve,

No, the Greenbottle Blues aren't typically aggressive. Of course, every species has their individuals. But, for the most part, they're more skittish and nervous. They're notorious hair-kickers also. But, I still like their colors and how much webbing they put up. It's a **** shame they're rather shy, because they're beautiful, I think. Anyway, yes, they are somewhat pricey. They fetch about the same price as Mexican Redknees. I've seen 1"+ babies for $35-40.

                    Re:What T should I get next?

Well, there may be individuals that do show aggressive behavior, but that's uncommon. In fact, I know of many GBB keepers, and I have never heard of anyone mention any aggressive behavior. They are more skittish and shy than anything. However, they are quite aggressive feeders though.
