  • bearded dragon cage. need help

    48 inches (long) x 20 inches (wide) x 20 inches (high)
    solid back panel
vertical glass panels inside the wood sides
    solid bottom panel
3/4 top on hinges with wire staple onto the wood top at the other 1/4 of the cage for the light
36 inches in the cage so it might have to run all the way across so I can hang a strip light so spike get all the uva/uvb rays.

is there anything you would change to this setup?

Sounds like a guRe: bearded dragon cage. need help

Sounds like a good layout to me. As always, just be sure to check your temps.

Doesnt sound like anythign is off...

I always kept my bearded dragons in a regular glass cage measuring 3 feet L, by 1.5 feet D, by 1.5 feet H. Just make sure there tepms are 95-100 hotspot, and about 80-85 cool end. At night there temps can drop safely to 80-75

;D Sounds good I agree just make sure the temps are good. Just a good rule of thumb..With lizards you know are going to get to a rather big size. Always buy or build a cage that your lizzy can grow into. Its a lot cheaper then having to switch cages as your baby grows. ;D
