Update On Mr. Muffin...

Well so far Mr. Muffin the other rescue gex that came in with the sick one that was put down is doing very well and getting fatter.. I have been checking his poo everyday and its staying nice and firm and normal as ever.. I also have been watching for any signs or symtoms of the Crypto that the other one had.. Hes eatting like a pig and putting on the weight.. If all still goes well in another 2 weeks i may take him out of quarenteen.. Hes pretty active and uses his house and climbing rocks as a sleeping place.. Hes a real character sometimes and he enjoys being outside in the grass on a sunny day... Im gona be getting a nice female leopard gex in few weeks as john put one on hold for me till the 4th of August.. She looks really nice and if Mr. Muffin is ok it will be his new love, in about 4 weeks.. She will be fattend up and kept in her own house till i know both are doing well.. Heres a pic of my new girl commin in few weeks.. Her name is gona be "Cupcake"....

Thats awesome, my leos never want to be seperated. If i take one out the other stands at the side of the cage scratching and barking, so I have to take both of them out. lol..

8) Well thanks everyone... Hes a real sweety, im just really relived that hes doing well and still no signs of Crypto.. hes still not eatting crix or pinkie mice.. but he is gobbling up tons wax worms and mealworms and hes still putting on weight so thats a real good sign... Im just gona keep trying other things and hopefuly he will eat them sooner or later... he still has few more weeks to go in quarenteen.. Today he gets free time outside in the grass.. ;D He shedded and is looking real good...

;D ;D ;D Well last night i found out that Mr. Muffin loves huge moths.. wooohoooo got him to eat something diffrent.. He took 3 large moths out of my fingers and then i figured what the heck try them on China Doll as well..She was in her egg laying house and as soon as i called her name and opened the lid to her cage she peeked her head out and i held one for her and she plucked it from my fingers like a good little girl... To bad moths arent around yr round... :-[

8)Well i have desided that if Mr. Muffin had crypto he would have started showing some kind of symtoms by now.. I have been checking his stool everyday and also watching his intake on food as well as water and hes just as perky as ever and eatting like a true piggy.. ;D His stools are normal and very firm, and no regurging or refusal of food, no spots on the under tummy, he is gaining alot of weight super fat tail and nice round tummy and has shed 2 times already, color looking great.. clear eyes, clear nose and clear vent... So hes going into a bigger cage and going out of the quarenteen room to be where more people are around but still far enough away from all the other animals just incase.. He will still be worked with last and everything washed and cleaned each time... Hes a very good boy and i am very happy that hes done so well for me... Mr. Muffin, welcome to the world of people and non isolation.... 8)

8) well another update, Mr Muffin is getting real fat.. he really loves them wax worms and mealies.. but his fav is a huge moth 3 times a week.. hes still in semi quarenteen but is still healthy as ever and pooing normal and hes going into another shed so i know hes well and growing good... whoot whoot, Cupcake is commin home... weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee cant wait to see her.. the money went out yesterday and she should be home by no later than thursday... im gona spoil her just as much as i do all my other babies.. gona quarenteen her for 2 weeks and see how she does as well and hes still got 2 weeks to go befour i pull him out of quarenteen... Those 2 are gona be a perfect pair and make real nice babies...

Moths huh..I use to see big Geckos only at night when I lived in Florida and they were snacking primarily on moths.. By the way Wax worms are high in fat so there good for putting on the weight..Ohh and wax worms are actually Moth Larva..Just incase you guys didnt know..
