New Gex's

Hey all,

I told a bunch of folks I would post pics of the two little beauty's I picked up today, well yesterday..

Two female Lepord/Albino Gecko's. The just stood out to me and the price was right.. They are each about 6 inches. They need to tame down some to lose their skittishness. That will come in time.. they are both fat and healthy. To be honest i am not 100% sure if they will stay forever or not.. Guess I will play that by ear..

Here are some pics of them.. Please keep in mind I am not happy at all with these pics.. Did it in the darker room through the glass tank... Better ones to come.. Ones that will show the purple and ornage in them, and show how intense their colors are..

In this shot, you can barley see the lavender inbetween the eyes on top..

This is the other female chilling in the calcium powder.. She is the nosy one and she loves to bark.. It freaked me at first..LOL

lol steve, The Barker. Their looking good, just keep em fat and happy and they do the rest. And they are like little Hoovers, they eat anything that moves lol.

8)Aawwwwww steve there adorable,, nice pics bud... they still have some of there baby coloring to them.. They have some normal coloring to them so then they would be het for albino if they came out of het for albino parents or one albino parent, now all ya need is a male albino and then youl get some albino babies and het for albino babies.. yeah they will grow on ya in time bud... Leopard gex have there own personality and some can be very sweet and some not.. Fattails are the gex that are very sweet for handling, they are very placid.... But i still love the leos as much as i do the fattails.. They look very good there steve nice females and very healthy to boot... way to go bud!!!!!!!! Welcome to the crazy world of GEX!!! ;D ;D

Hey Zack,

Well they are fat.. They need to calm down some, but I am working on it.. They got their first pinks tonight.. They took them from me, but didn't see them eat them.. Hope they got them down OK..

Thanks.. Wait a week and I will get some killer pics of them.. They are still too skittish to take them out and try to control them for pics...LOL

The Parents were as follows.. Male was a Normal Leo and Female was a full patternless Albino..

Funny how they are so different.. One chills and lets me pick her up and move her, where the other one runs like hell..LOL

I gave a pink to each one of them today.. They took them from my hand, and dropped them.. I waled away because they were watching me more then the pinks.. Came back the leos went into their cave, but didn't see the pinks any more... Hope they had no problems eating them..

8)Thats funny steve even tough your a snake man theres critters ya just cant help but fall in love with.. as for the pinkies just keep an eye out to make sure there each getting one as i know my fattail gex China is a pig when it comes to pinkies and she can take down 2 at a time with no probs... Thats cool at least one is easy going for yaz.. like i said some are sweet and some are skittish.... I still think gex are a real blast....

Hey Cuda,

Well after looking close, I found both pinkies.. O well I will stick to the crix and meal worms for now..

Funny thing happened last night. The one Leo licked my hand a few times..LOL
Then today I took their cave out so i could wake them and feed them.. one of the leos ran away the other one barked at my hand that bit it twice.. Too funny... I guess i got a grumpy one...LOL
