This guy came in with rescues here yesterday. He/she is going to be staying with us in our collection. This is a plated lizard. It's lost about half of the tail, but it is healing over well np. Also needs some major claw trimming done.

That is the first rep. I wanted insted I had to go out and find a western fence lizard and keep it... under my bed to hide it from my mom...

they're neat lizards to keep no doubt Red ! This one is doing good now here. Has some personality to it also even. Nothing like a beardie, but has something going on with it in that dept..Comment

8) Hey Lori plated lizards are way cool.. I have one that i took in as a rescue. hes a ornate and he has some toes missin and a regrown tail.. so that poor baby you got should grow his tail back with no prob. And yes they sure do have a sweet personality eats like crazy and is a real delight to have and enjoy.. He makes us laugh non stop sometimes with his antics..Hes very easy to handle and just sits on our laps looking around like hes saying " ahhh freedom" what ya feeding yours Lori?? Ours likes mixed fruits and veggies and night crawlers-earth worms, crickets and meal worms.. he also loves his canned cat food.. He loves getting in the water dish and soaking and swimmin hes just to funny sometimes...
