thanks for the info
If you're talking about the cool eyes, you probably saw a Veiled or Jackson Chameleon. Yes, they can be tricky little guys to keep. They are somewhat fragile, and can be picky when it comes to eating. They require a special set-up/cage. An aquarium will not do, it has to have screen sides and top. The rarely spend any time on the ground, so you need a high cage with lots, LOTS, of branches/leaves/trees! The price range is from $90 (baby) to $200 (juvenile/sub-adult). If you are truly interested in acquiring one of these, PLEASE do your homework. Learn as much about these little guys as possible!! They can get sick very easy if the proper conditions are not met, and they don't leave much room for error. Also, one of the most important thing to remember is: These are solitary animals, they do not do very well if housed with another Chameleon. I hope this helps, let us know if you need anything else.
Whats up guy. Once again I wouldn't reccomend a Chameleon as a first lizard.. As already stated these are very fragile animals. Besides, there more of a aquarium pet like a fish you really shouldn't hold them much because the get stressed out so easy. Theres a laundry list of other problems to ...special cages, humidity control, eating...it goes on and on. If you want a big lizard try a Savannah Monitor these are great and there easily tamed.
Look around on the internet for reptile breeders. @ a pet store youll pay about 90 dollars for one. I got my two captive born babys from a dealer for $60 . Good luck...
