    That is fascinating, I notice the resemblance of some of these species to a very common lizard around my house which is the Eastern Fence Lizard. (Sceloporus undulatus) Our lizards don't have the dewlaps but they do have some color and they display by doing what we call 'pushups'. LOL We love all of our lizards and actually have become able to tell them apart over time. Unfortunately they don't seem to have very long lives.
