8) Evil her cage looks good lots nice hidding spots makes her feel secure and yup that looks like a female to me... Have you had her stool checked yet?? She might need to be wormed.. I like the one where shes hangin off your finger..hehehe!! ;D ;D

No, I haven't had the money yet to get her to the vet. Hopefully this weekend. I'll have no problem getting a stool sample though!!! I have to clean up her poo everyday!!!!! Good, I was thinking she was a female!!! Glad you liked the cage. It's pretty crowded, but I know she needs lots of places to hide in. Yeah, she was holding on to my finger for a good half hour!! I had to pry her mouth open with a Q-tip stick. But I found a much easier way to make her let go. After I pryed her mouth open. Just spray her with some water, she'll let go right away!! That's how I got the stick out of her mouth.

As you can all see from the 2nd pic, my tokay is attatched to my finger. She was like that for about 30-40 mins before I could pry her off. I know that some lizards have some really bad bacteria in their mouths that can be very bad if it bites you. I was wondering, do Tokay's have this? And should I be worried? The area which she bit me at is pretty sore, which is to be expected. But I just wanted to know, should I be worried about getting sick at all from it? I washed it as soon as I got her off with Antibacterial soap, but is there anything else I sould be looking for, or am I just being over paranoid?

Let me warn you . The water trick doesn't always work. sometimes I have to just stick my hand and all in the cage and hold them where their feet are on something and just wait a minute or 2.
They will eventually turn you loose.

Update on the tokay's

Well, she shed last nite and is getting much, much fatter!!! She's a little chunk now!!! I'll have to get some new pix of her for comparison. Hey, do they eat their shed? Like I said, she shed last nite and I can't hair nor hide of that thing!!!!

8)Evil its normal for a gex to eat its shed skin, its good for them and they also do it so that preditors dont find it and them... she sounds like shes doing really well there bud.. have ya tried pinkie mice on her yet?? Also try some june bugs, night crawlers and some good size moths...
