White Lip...

;D ;D This is one tree frog i have been thinking about getting,, still looking for the worlds largest but this one comes real close.. This is a giant white lip tree frog from down under Aust..Litoria infrafrenata, Hylidae family.. found this pic to give you a idea of how big they can get.... ENJOY!!!!!! ;D

Some have red toe pads and red eyes and some dont..

8)Well i got my White Lipped tree frog when i was in Illinois.. Shes really cool and dont mind being handled, she just hangs out on my arm while i clean and put fresh water in her soak dish.. She took some crix out of my fingers, but shes still not eatting as much as she should.. She still needs more time to settle in.. Shes close to 5 inches and hopefully in the future she will get as big as the one that girl in the pic was holding.. Her toe pads have a pink color to them and she has the normal colored eyes.. Im gona work on a huge vivarium-house for her.. This is not my pic but she looks just like this one with alittle more color to her toes.. I think when i get the big vivarium done im gona add few adult female red eye tree frogs to it..

Just wait till you see her pix of this frog everyone. She is quite a pretty little thing!!! And she does seem very tame. 8) Congrats again cuda with the new frog. Have you decided on a name for her yet?

8)Hey Evil, i have desided on "Jade"as a name for her. She goes from beautiful light green to a flunky olive green depending on her mood.She had some free time out today and spent the day enjoying the huge vine i have in the kitchen, she made it up to the sky light and wanderd around for awhile and settled in on one big leaf to watch the out the sky light.. Thank you for the complament on her.. Remember the big female red eys we was looking at, well thats what im gona be getting next when i get my big vivarium done, i should have grabed the one we looked at.... LOL!!!! ;D

Oh I know, that one was very beautiful and colorful. Maybe one day I'll get some frogs or something. I don't know!! They seem pretty fragile, but we'll see.

:-\ Well my girlfriend wont be over yet for few more days so i poped this pic with the throw away befour i took it in, so bare with me its kinda cruddy and blurry. :-[
But here shes in the darker olive color shes still a nice frog.. Now could you have imagined how this pic would have came out if it was a dig cam. and i got a close up shot of her eyes...

Wow, she really changed colors!!! Do they normally do that or is that just from the lighting?

8) There capable of changing from very light to very dark, depending on there mood and also there suroundings.. Her light on her cage had been off for few hrs so she got this drap color, when the light is on she turns a bright green.. il get the dig cam pics when my girlfriend takes them and we shall get the frog in light phase and dark phase...

So instead of needing a mood ring, they have it built in. Hey they're mood frogs!!! LOL!! Good thing we aren't living walking mood rings!!!!

8) Well my white lipped tree frog went on a hunger strike, so i ended up giving it a good dose of liquid vitamins and transported it out side so that it can live more natural out in a screen house well it has been nice out and warm enough at night, left it alone and made sure it had a huge water dish, tree branches with good big green leafs, shade and i misted the whole screen enclosure each day, well tonight it was getting alittle to cold so i brung the tree frog back in, seems to have eattin something as it had a normal poo, i had put some moths, crix and few june bugs in the screen house. Then i desided hey try using a decoy frog that eats to induce another frog to eat.. I used a wood frog and sure enough she ate after watching this wood frog go after crix and moths.. well when it gets warm enough again il put both the wood frog and the white lipped back out into the huge screen house and see how things go..
