This is one of ours here. A TIGER SALAMANDER..... We also keep a couple of other ss of these amphibs too.

Are they aggresive can you keep more than one per tank?
I tried to raise one from a newt but it wouldn't stay in the holding tank..
They are beautiful animals

They can be towards each other [ I only keep one of this specific ss atm myself]. I have seen some in cages where a couple of them appear to have been gone after somewhat. So I chose to keep just one for the time being.
I keep other ss of salamanders / newts also and they are housed together np even.
LOL.. Yeah.. Ya open the cover and they are "fleeing" it seems hahaha. We had to track down one of the others the other day.. Dang kid left the cover off when he went to get em more water lol. Found it np though ;D
Now if I could only find the one awol Boa that escaped the other day here..UGH.Comment
