    Tort And Potty Spot..

    8) Ok Speedy loves going to a certain area in the yard and using it as a potty spot now by any chance could they have one spot where they always go or do i just have a tort thats cool about where it goes to the bathroom... Just wondering does anyones tort do the same thing??

    That makes things easier Cuda.. That is cool. never knew they did that.. The couple of turtles I had would poop anywhere, including on you...LOL

      ???Yeah its cool and i love that she goes way over by this one spot. Even when hes out side for short period she seems to graze then wonders over to that one spot and poof thats where she goes.. We watch her all the time and never fails thats the place.. Seems like shes saying man never wana mess up where i graze.. She hasnt had a mess in her cage yet nither so maybe she feels keep it clean or have to be in with it.. Shes really smart.. She dont mind the cat or the dog at all and just goes about her daily outside adventure grazing..

        8)Well for the last few days Speedy has been out and about grazing and i have been watching to see if she keeps going to the same spot to do her biz, well sure enough she sorta puts her face to the ground and sniffs and wonders over to where she had been going, last night she missed the spot by about 2 ft.. so is she using that same spot or was just off by alittle or is she just going to diffrent places now.. will watch over the next few days and report back again.. still no poo in cage, as if she knows to go outside only.. which is nice, now if only i could get her to stop over turning her food dish.. LOL!!!!

          nibe does that ALL the time! is it a desert tortise!? and i have mine in the a cage cuz he kept excaping from the out side play pin....hes been in their over 2,3 weeks.....never a poo in their....he always goes underthis plant that we have in it....how old is urs..mine ether 6 months...1 year.....or 1 year and 1/2 lol

            My ornate does the same thing, exept she only goes in the corner of her outside cage setup. it really is a good thing because its much more easier to clean
