I agree Due to the brighter colors on the head and neck I would say the male is on the left.. ;D ;D

8)Excellent pic Jay and yup male is the one with the yellow head as female cockatiels have more of a grayish head i know i use to raise cockatiels and we had several of them... Most of the females we had was more lovable than the males..

yup, males on left. Most female cocatiels don't have as much bright yellow as the males. Yea, I think you're right cuda, my female is pretty lovable, will step right up on your finger from inside the cage while the male will run like *BLEEP* and he is always tryin to bite your ear off. The wierd thing is when before I got the female the male used to talk and sing his head off but after I got the female he's slowed his singin down and the female does most of the singin. ;D : ;D anyways, thanks guys and gals. 8)

8)Yeah the females deffinately make the better bird and when they are alone are even more loveable, our fav female was Kiki, she would eat dinner with us and also go in the shower with yaz and sit on the couch and watch TV with ya, was just to funny.. If she saw me runnin water she would fly over to the sink and wait for me to fill the sink up so she could climb in and take a bath... She loved shinny objects, earings and things, was very comical we would laugh at her so much she would play with a paper bag on the floor crawling in and out of it, if she was molting she would bring the feathers to ya and drop um.. andrea would push her around in a baby stroller she had for her dolls when she was younger.. or put her in a basket and carry her around... one other thing you also notice females have alot more zebra stripes on the outer 2 tail feathers than the males...
