• Dutchess

I was messing around with the camera the other night and liked the way this one turned out so I thought I'd share one for the cat lovers. She was a rescue and is thought to have some kind of ragdoll and Siamese in her. She's a little girl with a monstrous voice, this cat talks up a storm. Plus she's a lot more cuddly and affectionate than the snakes LoL Enjoy

She's pretty. She looks a little like one of my cats, with that crazy-long mane.

Gorgeous cat. I love the blue glow. The cat does look like it has Siamese in it. Ragdolls are descendants from Siamese.

Yes they are. I was told the other Siamese in her was Seal Point. Can't really verify any of it though. She's actually curled up between me and the key board right now and using my left arm as a pillow. lol she's making answering these posts a little difficult and slow. But it's well worth it.

Seal point is just a pattern layout. She does look like she has seal point markings though.

Reinz15 I used to have a Maine Coon. I've always thought she had those markings. She is only about a1/3 or a 1/4 the size though. She's definitely half Siamese though. She has the blues eyes with one of them a little crossed eyed and she is a constent talker. Most Siamese are big cats so if she was crossed with a Maine Coon I figured she would be alot bigger. But I do agree she has those markings.

By all means she may be mixed. You know her, we don't. However, not all Maine Coons are huge. The giveaway marking of one is the "M" on the forehead.

Reinz15 I always thought see resembled a Maine Coon but never knew about the marking or that some are smaller. Your probably right. All I do know about her is that she was dropped off with her brother to a rescue as babies. They were adopted but for whatever reason she was brought back. My ex got her but she attached herself to me. Duchess likes to get up the counters and explores all high places in the house. The ex never had patience for that and I just see it as a cat being a cat, it doesn't hurt anything. Since I'm such an animal lover and Duchess, to me, has had a less than desirable life so far I couldn't let the ex take her. She's really needy and cuddly so she's actually been pretty good therapy for me and she's showered with attention from me so I think we both won. I wouldn't give her up for anything.

Our stories are somewhat similar Avalanche. Marbles is all over the counter as well and likes to climb as high up as possible on the furniture.

I got her from a college girl on Craig's List at 2 yrs old. The funny thing is she warms up to men, and very, very, slow to women.

Don't know if I told you, but our Silver Bengal, Jynx, died unexpectedly several months ago. It was a real heart breaker for Shalena.
