8)Aawwww now aint that cute... my kids are keeping a pair of the baby colossal rats that i breed for the snakes.. We got over 18 babies out of one litter and they are all diffrent colors.. So the kids picked out one gray and white and one brown and white.. Good thing i have lots breeders and they are all putting out lots babies or they would be used for snake food... 8) Colossal rats have good amounts of babies...LOL!!!!!

This litter came from a pair of Large white's, I've always been interested in the colossal, how big do they get? Is there life span about the same as the others? 2-4 years?

my snakes are thinking, lunch time!!!. just kidding, as a matter of fact one time when my python was fasting i actually kept the rat she was supposed to eat. man they are cute but he ended up stinking up my room so i let him go.

IF you take the baby away from the mother like a week early it will be a better pet for you... they can eat at that time but choose to drink from the mother.... I don't know why but I have done it and it works great... they loved me like I was there daddy... It was vary cute...

Yep, we've already seperated out little one from the rest of the litter. She is very cute and has started to eat on her own. I sometimes wish they could maintain their rat persona but stay small and cute (mouse size)! Oh well, love them either way!
