Crazy Rat Day..

> well yesterday was one crazy day.. We had a female colossal rat get loose few days ago and shes preg to boot so i had tried everything to catch her and to no avail.. So sure enough we had to move everything outa the horses barn and also move all the wood pallets and then i had to block off all escape routs and then all of us were in the barn with nets to catch this frickin rat.. well come to find out she had been sneaking in the dogs pen at night steeling dog food and storing it under one of the pallets and that she had also dig a nice deep burrow as well.. after chasing her for a hr she made it to her burrow, geesh...so the only way to get her out was to flood the burrow and that we did and she finally ran into the net and was a soggy critter,, put her back in the tank with her other buddies and they all licked her clean....Now JR has made sure she will not get out again... what a day... :-[

Sounds like fun Cuda.. Suprised you were able to get her outside. If I was you, I would have snt one of the snakes in to get her..LOL

8) Well its a good thing we caught her as she had pups 4 days later, She didnt have as many as i had hoped.. She only gave me 21 this time, but thats cool some of them have already been used as feeders... hehehe... ;D she always gives me this look, like lady quit taking all my babies.. :-\
